Suryakumar Yadav's record-breaking 22-ball fifty and Virat Kohli's masterclass unbeaten half-century sets up to India registered their historic first T20I win against Hong Kong by comprehensive 40-runs and storm into the next round (Super 4) in the fourth match of a Asia Cup.

India scored 192-2 in 20 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav hammered a unbeaten 68 off 26-balls.

Virat Kohli cracked a unbeaten 59 off 44-balls including 3-sixes & a four, KL Rahul struck 36 off 39-balls included 2-sixes and Rohit Sharma hit 21 off 13-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 161.53.

Hong Kong best bowler by Mohammad Ghazanfar and Ayush Shukla both took one-wickets.


Hong Kong scored 152-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Babar Hayat struck 41 off 35-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.

Kinchit Shah scored 30 off 28-balls including 2-fours & a six, Zeeshan Ali cracked a unbeaten 26 off 17-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 152.94 and Scott McKechnie hit a unbeaten 16 off 8-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 200.

India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Sing and Avesh Khan each took one-wickets.

Suryakumar Yadav named Player of the match for his  power-hitting batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 68-runs knocked off facing 26-balls including 6-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 261.53.
