Bowlers attack before Andy Balbirne, Lorcan Tucker and George Dockrell helped to Ireland convincing eight-wicket victory over Afghanistan and take a 2-0 lead in a low-scoring second T20I.
Afghanistan scored 122-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Hashmatullah Shahidi struck 36 off 42-balls including 3-fours, Ibrahim Zadran 17 and Azmatullah Omarzai 11.
Ireland best bowler by Mark Adair, Curtis Campher, Josh Little and Gareth Delany each took 2-wickets.
Ireland 125-5 in 19 overs with top scorer by Andy Balbirne struck 46 off 36-balls including 6-fours & a six, Lorcan Tucker 27 and George Dockrell 25 not out.
Afghanistan best bowler by Mohammad Nabi takes 2-wickets, Naveen-ul-Haq, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Fazalhaq Farooqi each took one-wickets.
