A superb bowling display from Axar Patel's three-for before Virat Kohli's masterclass fifty and Suryakumar Yadav's quick-fire half-century sets up to India hard-fought six-wicket victory over Australia, despite a blazing half-centuries from Cameron Green - Tim David and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a high-voltage game of the third T20I.

  • India chased 187 was their eighth highest successful run-chase in T20 international and It is their fourth highest chase against Australia in T20Is.
  • Cameron Green equalled a 19-ball joint fourth fastest fifty for Australia in T20 international, jointly with David Warner and the fastest fifty by an Australian batsman against India in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 25-ball half-century held by Matthew Wade at Sydney in 2020.
  • Tim David equalled a 25-ball second fastest fifty by an Australian batsman against India in T20Is, jointly with Matthew Wade.
  • Australia's 186 was their joint sixth highest score against India in T20 Internationals.
  • Tim David hammered a 25-ball his second fastest fifty in T20 Internationals after his 17-ball half-century for Singapore against Malaysia at Bangkok in 2020.
  • 68 : Tim David and Daniel Sams set up the record seventh-wicket partnership for Australia against India in T20 international, previously held by the unbeaten 33-run stand between Marcus Stoinis and Nathan Coulter-Nile at Sydney in 2018 and the Australia's joint third highest seventh-wicket stand in T20Is, jointly 68-run stand held by between George Bailey and Pat Cummins against West Indies at Colombo (RPS) in the 2012 World Twenty20.
  • 104 : Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for India against Australia in T20 International and the India's fifth highest third-wicket stand in T20Is.

Australia scored 186-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tim David blasted a 54 off 27-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 200.

Cameron Green hammered a 52 off 21-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 247.61.

Danial Sams scored a unbeaten 28 off 20-balls including 2-sixes & a four and Josh Inglis hit 24 off 22-balls included 3-fours.

India best bowler by Axar Patel picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 4-overs, Harshal Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar each took one-wickets.

India chased 187-4 in 19.5 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav hammered a 69 off 36-balls, Virat Kohli cracked a 63 off 48-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours.

Hardik Pandya scored a unbeaten 25 off 16-balls including 2-fours & a six and Rohit Sharma hit 17 off 14-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Australia best bowler by Daniel Sams took 2-wickets and one for Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins.

Suryakumar Yadav named Player of the match for his match-winning quick-fire 69-runs knocked off facing 36-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 191.66
