Kusal Mendis' joint career-best 79 before Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana's combined 5-wickets helped to Sri Lanka hard-fought 16-run victory over Netherlands, despite a fighting knock from opener Max O'Dowd's unbeaten 71 and Sri Lanka secured a Super 12s spot in the ninth match of a T20 World Cup.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Maheesh Theekshana took 2-wickets and one for Lahiru Kumara - Binura Fernando.
Kusal Mendis named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best his joint 79-runs knocked off facing 44-balls including 5-sixes and 5-fours with strike rate of 179.54.
