Opener Pathum Nissanka's brilliant 74 and Dhananjaya De Silva's superb 33 before Wanindu Hasaranga's economical spell of 3 for 8 and Dushmantha Chameera's three-for helped to Sri Lanka's record 79-run victory over UAE, despite a historic hat-trick from Karthik Meiyappan and Sri Lanka boost the their net run-rate in a one-sided game of the sixth match of a T20 World Cup.

Dhananjaya De Silva hammered a 33 off 21-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.14 and Kusal Mendis scored 18 off 13-balls included 2-fours.

UAE best bowler by Karthik Meiyappan picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 4-overs, Zahoor Khan took 2-wickets and one for Aayan Afzal Khan - Aryan Lakra.

UAE scored 73 for all-out in 17.1 overs with top scorer by Aayan Afzal Khan scored 19 off 21-balls including a boundary.

Junaid Siddique scored 18 off 16-balls including one-six & a four and Chirag Suri hit 14 off 19-balls included three boundaries.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 3-wickets for 8-runs in 4-overs including a maiden.

Dushmantha Chameera took 3-wickets for 15-runs in 3.5-overs, Maheesh Theekshana takes 2-wickets and one for Dasun Shanaka - Pramod Madushan.

Pathum Nissanka named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 74-runs knocked off facing 60-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes.
