Sikandar Raza's record-breaking 48-ball 82 before Bowlers attack helped to Zimbabwe registered their first World Cup match win against Ireland by comprehensive 31-runs in the fourth match of a T20 World Cup.

  • Zimbabwe's 31-run win was their joint sixth largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international, It is their biggest win against Ireland in T20Is, previously they won by 5-runs at Bready in the last year and also It is their biggest win in a T20 World Cup, previously they won by 14-runs against Hong Kong at Nagpur in the 2016 World Twenty20.

Zimbabwe scored 174-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sikandar Raza hammered a 82 off 48-balls.

Wesley Madhevere hit 22 off 14-balls including 4-fours, Luke Jongwe scored a unbeaten 20 off 10-balls included 3-fours and Milton Shumba 16.

Ireland best bowler by Josh Little picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs, Simi Singh and Mark Adair both took 2-wickets.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Blessing Muzarabani picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Richard Ngarava, Tendai Chatara both took 2-wickets and one for Sean Williams - Sikandar Raza.

Sikandar Raza named Player of the match for his quick-fire batting performance to smashed a record-breaking 82-runs knocked off facing 48-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 170.83.
