Harry Brook, Ben Foakes, Jack Leach and debutant Rehan Ahmed guided England comprehensive eight-wicket victory over Pakistan and registered their historic first 3-0 whitewash against Pakistan in the third Test match.

  • This is the 14th time England have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in Test matches and and registered their historic first 3-0 whitewash against Pakistan in Tests.
  • This is the 17th time Pakistan have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral series in Test matches.
  • This is the first instance of Pakistan getting whitewashed at home Test series of three or more matches. This is only the 9th instance of a visiting team completing a series whitewash in three or more Tests. The previous clean sweep by the visitors was also by England against Sri Lanka 3-0 in 2018.
  • 18y 126 days : Rehan Ahmed became the youngest player to claim a five-wicket on debut Test match with the 5-wickets in the second innings, surpassing the previous record of 18y 193 days by Pat Cummins against South Africa at Johannesburg in 2011, where he claimed a 6-wicket haul.
  • Harry Brook became the second batsman to score hundreds in each game of an away series of three or more Tests after Daryl Mitchell, when he scored a hundred in all three matches of the England tour earlier this year.
  • Harry Brook is only the second England batsman to score a hundred in each game of a series of three or more Tests, after Ken Barrington against Pakistan in 1967.
  • Rehan Ahmed's 5 for 48 was the third best bowling figures by an England bowler against Pakistan on debut match in Test matches and became the seventh England bowler to claim a five-wicket haul against Pakistan in Tests.

* Abrar Ahmed's wicket maiden over after Babar Azam and Agha Salman's fifties helped to Pakistan posted 304 on the opening day of the  third Test match.

* Harry Brook's extraordinary century, Ben Foakes' half-century and tailenders secure useful advantage as England took a 50-run first-innings lead after Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed's four-for on the day 2 of the third Test match.

* Ben Duckett's quick-fire 82* seals England seals historic 3-0 whitewash against Pakistan on the day of the third Test match.


Pakistan 1st Innings scored  304 for all-out in 79 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam struck 78 off 123-balls including 9-fours.

Agha Salman cracked a 56 off 93-balls including 6-fours, Azhar Ali hit 45 off 68-balls included 6-fours, Shan Masood struck 30 off 37-balls including 5-fours.

Saud Shakeel scored 23 off 58-balls including 3-fours, Nauman Ali hit 20 off 24-balls included 3-fours and Mohammad Rizwan 19.

1st Innings England best bowler by Jack Leach claimed a 4-wickets for 140-runs in 31-overs including two maidens.

Debutant Rehan Ahmed - who took 2-wickets on his Test debut first innings bowling, Joe Root, Ollie Robinson and Mark Wood each took one-wickets.

England 1st Innings scored 354 for all-out in 81.4 overs with top scorer by Harry Brook hammered a 111 off 150-balls - which was his 3rd Test hundred, his third century against Pakistan in Tests and also his third century in this series - including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 74.

Ben Foakes scored 64 off 121-balls including 6-fours, Ollie Pope struck 51 off 64-balls included 4-fours.

Mark Wood cracked a 35 off 41-balls including 4-fours, Ollie Robinson blasted a 29 off 20-balls included 5-fours with strike rate of 145.

Ben Stokes struck 26 off 33-balls including 4-fours and Ben Duckett scored 26 off 37-balls included one-six & a four.

1st Innings Pakistan best bowler by Nauman Ali claimed a 4-wickets for 126-runs in 30-overs including a maiden, Abrar Ahmed picked up 4-wickets for 150-runs in 34.4-overs included five maidens and Mohammad Wasim took one-wicket.

Pakistan 2nd Innings scored 216 for all-out in 74.5 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam struck 54 off 104-balls including 6-fours.

Saud Shakeel cracked a 53 off 133-balls including 6-fours, Abdullah Shafique scored 26 off 54-balls included 4-fours, Shan Masood hit 24 off 43-balls included 3-fours & a six, Agha Salman 21 and Nauman Ali 15.

2nd Innings England best bowler by debutant Rehan Ahmed - who claimed a his first five-wicket on his debut Test match, Jack Leach picked up 3-wickets and one for Mark Wood - Joe Root.

England chased 172-2 in 28.1 overs with top scorer by Ben Duckett hammered a unbeaten 82 off 78-balls including 12-fours with strike rate of 105.12.

Zak Crawley cracked a run-a-ball 41-runs including 7-fours and Ben Stokes scored a unbeaten 35 off 43-balls included 3-fours

2nd Innings Pakistan best bowler by Abrar Ahmed took 2-wickets for 78-runs in 12-overs.

Harry Brook named Player of the match for his quick-fire 111-runs in the first innings.

Harry Brook earned player of the series for contributing 468-runs in the three-match series.
