Sensational Suryakumar Yadav's 45-ball sparkling century sets up to India massive 91-run victory over Sri Lanka and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a one-sided game of the third T20I.

  • India's 91-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their second biggest win against Sri Lanka in T20Is after their 93-run win at Cuttack in 2017.
  • India's 228 was their fifth highest score in T20 international and It is their second highest total against Sri Lanka in T20Is after their highest-score ever against also the Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017.
  • India's 228 was the highest score by any team at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in T20 internationals, previous highest was 202 by India against Australia in 2013.
  • Suryakumar Yadav hammered a 26-ball his joint fifth fastest fifty for India in T20 international and the seventh fastest fifty by an Indian batsman against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • Suryakumar Yadav hammered a 45-ball second fastest century for India in T20 international after Rohit Sharma's 35-ball hundred against also the Sri Lanka at Indore in 2017 and the joint 13th fastest hundred in T20Is, jointly with Richard Levi.
  • Suryakumar Yadav became the second Indian batsman to score three centuries in T20 internationals after Rohit Sharma's 4-hundreds and overall the fifth player in T20Is after Rohit Sharma (4), Sabawoon Davizi (3), Glenn Maxwell (3) and Colin Munro (3).

  • 111 : Shubman Gill and Suryakumar Yadav set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for India against Sri Lanka in T20 international and the India's fourth highest third-wicket stand in T20Is.
  • India's 14-sixes was the joint third most sixes in an innings in T20 international and It is their second most sixes in an innings against Sri Lanka in T20Is.
  • Sri Lanka's 137 was their joint eighth lowest score in the completed innings against India in T20Is.

India scored mammoth total of 228-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Suryakumar Yadav hammered a unbeaten 112 off 51-balls - which was his 3rd T20I hundred & his second century against Sri Lanka in T20Is.

Shubman Gill struck 46 off 36-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours, Rahul Tripathi blasted a 35 off 16-balls included 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 218.75 and Axar Patel blasted a unbeaten 21 off 9-balls including 4-fours with strike rate of 233.33.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dilshan Madushanka takes 2-wickets, Kasun Rajitha, Wanindu Hasaranga and Chamika Karunaratne each took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 137 for all-out in 16.4 overs with top scorer by Kusal Mendis hammered a 23 off 15-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 153.33.

Dasun Shanaka struck 23 off 17-balls including 2-sixes, Dhananjaya de Silva hit 22 off 14-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 157.14, Charith Asalanka 19 and Pathum Nissanka 15.

India best bowler by Arshdeep Singh picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 2.4-overs, Hardik Pandya, Umran Malik, Yuzvendra Chahal each took 2-wickets and one for Axar Patel.

Suryakumar Yadav named Player of the match for his sensational batting performance to smashed a sparkling unbeaten 112-runs knocked off facing 51-balls including 9-sixes and 7-fours with strike rate of 219.60.

Axar Patel earned player of the series for contributing 117-runs, took 3-wickets with economy rate of 7.40 in the three-match series.
