A brilliant maiden century from Kushal Bhurtel and Rohit Paudel's superb half-century helped to Nepal record two-wicket victory over Namibia, despite a Michael van Lingen's magnificent 133 in the 121st match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.

  • Nepal chased 286 was their highest successful run-chase in One-day international cricket history, previous highest chase was 255 against UAE at ICCA Dubai in 2019.
  • Kushal Bhurtel became the first Nepal batsman to score a century against Namibia in ODI cricket history.
  • Kushal Bhurtel became the fourth Nepal batsman to score a hundred in One-day internationals after Paras Khadka, Rohit Paudel and Dipendra Singh Airee.
  • Kushal Bhurtel's 115 was his highest score for Nepal in One-day international and the highest-score by an Nepal batsman against Namibia in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 75 held by Gyanendra Malla at Windhoek in the last year.

  • Karan KC became the first Nepal bowler to claimed a five-for against Namibia in ODI cricket history.
  • Karan KC's 5 for 61 was his third best bowling figures for Nepal in One-day international and the best bowling figures by an Nepal bowler against Namibia in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 4 for 29 held by Sandeep Lamichhane at Ayr in the last year.

Namibia scored 285 for all-out in 50 overs with top scorer by Michael van Lingen cracked a career-best 133 off 137-balls - which was his 3rd ODI hundred & his second century against Nepal in ODIs - including 9-fours & 5-sixes.

Gerhard Erasmus struck 56 off 79-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours,  Zane Green blasted a 34 off 19-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 178.94.

Nepal best bowler by Karan KC claimed a 5-wickets for 61-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 3-wickets and one for Kushal Malla - Sompal Kami.

Nepal chased 287-8 in 47.4 overs with top scorer by Kushal Bhurtel struck 115 off 113-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred.

Rohit Paudel cracked a 72 off 76-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes, Sundeep Jora hit 28 off 24-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 116.66.

Gyanendra Malla scored 25 off 35-balls including 4-fours and Karan KC cracked a unbeaten 20 off 12-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 166.66.

Namibia best bowler by Ruben Trumpelmann picked up 3-wickets, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton took 3-wickets and one for Tangeni Lungameni.

Kushal Bhurtel named Player of the match for his match-winning career-best 115-runs knocked off facing 113-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes.
