An electrifying 50-ball 91 by Muhammad Waseem and Vriitya Aravind's unbeaten 38 helped to UAE resounding nine-wicket victory over Afghanistan and level the series with 1-1 in the second T20I.

  • 7-sixes : Muhammad Waseem hit his second most sixes in an innings for UAE in T20 international and the most-sixes hit by an UAE batsman against Afghanistan in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 3-sixes jointly hit by Shaiman Anwar and Rohan Mustafa in 2016.
  • Muhammad Waseem's 91 was his third highest score for UAE in T20 international and the highest-score by an UAE batsman against Afghanistan in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 77 held by Rohan Mustafa at Fatullah in 2016.

Afghanistan scored 137-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Najibullah Zadran cracked a unbeaten 37 off 29-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Hazratullah Zazai scored 27 off 29-balls including 2-fours, Afsar Zazai hit 18 off 24-balls included two-fours and Rahmanullah Gurbaz cracked a 15 off 11-balls including 3-fours.

UAE best bowler by Zahoor Khan, Zawar Farid both took 2-wickets and one for Akif Raza - Junaid Siddique.

UAE chased 138-1 in 18.2 overs with top scorer by Muhammad Waseem blasted a 91 off 50-balls and Vriitya Aravind cracked a unbeaten 38 off 46-balls including 2-fours.

Muhammad Waseem named Player of the match for his match-winning electrifying 91-runs knocked off facing 50-balls including 8-fours and 7-sixes with strike rate of 182.
