Michael van Lingen's superb unbeaten century and Gerhard Erasmus' brilliant unbeaten 88 after Three-wicket haul from Ben Shikongo and Ruben Trumpelmann helped to Namibia registered their historic first ODI win against Jersey by 8-wickets in a one-sided game of the sixth match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.
Jersey scored 213-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jonty Jenner struck 76 off 96-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.
Josh Lawrenson scored 42 off 63-balls including 2-fours, Julius Sumerauer scored 28 off 30-balls included two boundaries.
Namibia best bowler by Ruben Trumpelmann picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Ben Shikongo took 3-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs included a maiden, Karl Birkenstock, Bernard Scholtz and Gerhard Erasmus each took one-wickets.
Namibia chased 216-2 in 32.1 overs with top scorer by Michael van Lingen cracked a unbeaten 110 off 93-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred & his first century against Jersey in ODIs.
Gerhard Erasmus cracked a unbeaten 88 off 87-balls including 9-fours & a six and Nikolaas Davin scored 10 off 9-balls included 2-fours.
Jersey best bowler by Charles Perchard and Julius Sumerauer both took one-wickets.
Michael van Lingen named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 110-runs knocked off facing 93-balls including 11-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 118.27.
