Gajanand Singh's all-round display, low-order batsmen's valuable runs, Ali Khan and Nisarg Patel's each three-wickets helped to USA's record 80-run victory over Namibia in the opening match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.

Match Stats : USA's 80-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and It is their biggest win against Namibia in ODIs, previous biggest win by 71-runs at same venue in the last year. USA's 231 was their second highest score against Namibia in One-day internationals after their 244 at same venue in the last year. 51 : Nosthush Kenjige and Saurabh Netravalkar set up the record ninth-wicket partnership for USA against Namibia in One-day international, previously held by the unbeaten 10-run stand between Nisarg Patel and Nosthush Kenjige at same venue in previous year and the USA's second highest ninth-wicket stand in ODIs. Namibia's 151 was their seventh lowest score in a completed innings in One-day international and It is their second worst-total against USA in ODIs after their 121 at Lauderhill in 2019.

USA scored 231-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Gajanand Singh struck 53 off 63-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Nosthush Kenjige scored a run-a-ball 43-runs including 3-fours & 2-sixes, Aaron Jones hit 36 off 52-balls included one-six & a four.

Jessy Singh scored 33 off 61-balls including 3-fours & a six and Sushant Singh 17.

Namibia best bowler by Shaun Fouché, Ben Shikongo both picked up 3-wickets, Ruben Trumpelmann both took 2-wickets and one for Pikky Ya France.

Namibia scored 151 for all-out in 41.4 overs with top scorer by Shaun Fouché struck 55 off 98-balls including 2-fours.

Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton cracked a 38 off 44-balls including 4-fours & a six and Gerhard Erasmus scored 22 off 41-balls included two boundaries.

USA best bowler by Ali Khan picked up 3-wickets for 21-runs in 7-overs including a maiden, Nisarg Patel strikes 3-wickets for 29-runs in 9-overs included a maiden, Jessy Singh took 2-wickets and one for Saurabh Netravalkar - Gajanand Singh.

Gajanand Singh named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 1-wicket with his brilliant fielding to take two catches after scoring a 53 off 63-balls.
