Half-centuries from Tony Ura and Sese Bau before Chad Soper's record-breaking five-for gives PNG's record 131-run victory over UAE in a one-sided game of the 130th match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.

  • PNG's 131-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals, previous biggest win by 58-runs against Hong Kong at Harare in 2018.
  • PNG lost their last seven wickets for just 28-runs - which was their joint second worst seven-wicket collapse in One-day international and It is their worst 7-wicket collapse against UAE in ODIs. They went from 234 for 3 to 262 for all out, Their previous worst such collapse was seven for 56-runs against UAE at Abu Dhabi in 2017.
  • Chad Soper became the first PNG bowler to claimed a five-wicket haul against UAE in One-day international cricket history.

Gaudi Toka hit 28 off 33-balls including 2-fours & a six and Assad Vala scored 23 off 27-balls included 2-fours.

UAE best bowler by Karthik Meiyappan claimed a 4-wickets for 49-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Aryan Lakra picked up 3-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs included a maiden, Zahoor Khan took 2-wickets and one for Rohan Mustafa.

UAE scored 131 for all-out in 34.2 overs with top scorer by Muhammad Waseem cracked a 24 off 17-balls including 4-fours.

Zahoor Khan scored 23 off 25-balls including 3-fours, Vriitya Aravind hit 23 off 36-balls included a boundary and Aasif Sheikh scored 20 off 43-balls including a boundary.

PNG best bowler by Chad Soper 5-25, Assad Vala, Narman Vanua, Riley Hekure each took one-wickets.

Chad Soper named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a 5-wicket haul for 25-runs in 10-overs including a maiden.
