Taijul Islam, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan stars as Bangladesh registered their historic first Test match win against Ireland, despite a Lorcan Tucker's debut century in the one-off Test match.

  • Andy McBrine's 6 for 118 was the best bowling figures by an Ireland bowler in Test cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 13 held by Tim Murtagh against England at Lord's in 2019.
  • Mushfiqur Rahim became the first Bangladesh batsman to score a century against Ireland in Test cricket history.
  • Tucker became the second Ireland batsman to score a century on debut Test match after Kevin O'Brien, and the sixth wicket-keeper to do this feat.
  • Lorcan Tucker became the second Ireland batsman to score a hundred in Test cricket after Kevin O'Brien.
  • Lorcan Tucker became the first Ireland batsman to score a century against Bangladesh in Test cricket history.
  • Ireland's 292 was their second highest score in Test cricket after their 339 against Pakistan at Dublin in 2018.

* Mushfiqur Rahim's brilliant century, Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz's fifties as Bangladesh take a 155-run first innings lead after Andy McBrine's record six-wicket haul and Ireland second innings scored 27-4 at Stumps in the day of the one-off Test match.
 
* Lorcan Tucker's debut century, Harry Tector and Andy McBrine's fifties as Ireland ended on 286 for 8 and take a 131-run second innings lead  at stumps on the day three of the one-off Test match.

* Mushfiqur Rahim follow magnificent century with half-century as Bangladesh complete Test win against Ireland after Ireland lost their last two wickets quickly to set Bangladesh target only 138 in the day four of the one-off Test match.



Ireland 1st Innings scored  214 for all-out in 77.2 overs with top scorer by Harry Tector hit 50 off 92-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Lorcan Tucker scored 37 off 74-balls including 3-fours, Curtis Campher cracked a 34 off 73-balls included 6-fours.

Mark Adair scored 32 off 52-balls including 5-fours & a six, Andy McBrine 19, Andy Balbirnie 16 and James McCollum 15.

1st Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Taijul Islam claimed a 5-wicket haul for 58-runs in 28-overs including five maidens, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Ebadot Hossain both took 2-wickets and one for Shoriful Islam.

Bangladesh 1st Innings scored 369 for all-out in 80.3 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim hammered a 126 off 166-balls - which was his 10th Test hundred & his first century against Ireland in Tests - including 15-fours & a six with strike rate of 75.90.

Shakib Al Hasan blasted a 87 off 94-balls including 14-fours, Mehidy Hasan Miraz hit 55 off 80-balls included 6-fours & 2-sixea.

Litton Das hammered a 43 off 41-balls including 8-fours with strike rate of 104.87, Tamim Iqbal hit 21 off 36-balls included 2-fours & a six and Mominul Haque hit 17 off 34-balls including 4-fours.

1st Innings Ireland best bowler by Andy McBrine claimed a career-best 6-wicket haul for 118-runs in 28-overs including two maidens, Mark Adair and Ben White both took 2-wickets.

Ireland 2nd Innings scored 292 for all-out in 116 overs with top scorer by Debutant Lorcan Tucker - who scored 108 off 162-balls on his debut Test match - including 14-fours & a six.

Andy McBrine struck 72 off 156-balls including 8-fours & a six, Harry Tector hit 56 off 159-balls included 7-fours & a six and Peter Moor 16.

2nd Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Taijul Islam claimed a 4-wickets for 90-runs in 42-overs including 16 maidens, Ebadot Hossain picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 15-overs included three maidens, Shakib Al Hasan took 2-wickets and one for Shoriful Islam.

Bangladesh chased 138-3 in 27.1 overs with top scorer by Mushfiqur Rahim cracked a unbeaten 51 off 48-balls including 7-fours.

Tamim Iqbal hit 31 off 65-balls including 3-fours, Litton Das struck 23 off 19-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 121.05 and Mominul Haque 20 not out.

2nd Innings Ireland best bowler by Mark Adair, Ben White and Andy McBrine each took one-wickets.

Mushfiqur Rahim named Player of the match for his magnificent batting performance to scored 126-runs in the first innings and a unbeaten 51-runs in the second innings.
