Shubman Gill's superb half-century, David Miller and Abhinav Manohar's rapid forties before Noor Ahmad's three-for, Rashid Khan and Mohit Sharma's each two wickets helped to Gujarat Titans thumping 55-run victory over Mumbai Indians, despite a Nehal Wadhera's blitz in the 35th match of a Indian Premier League.

Match Stats : 
  • Gujarat Titans' 55-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League after their 62-run victory against Lucknow Super Giants at Pune in the last season.
  • Gujarat Titans' 207 was their highest score in Indian Premier League, previous highest was 204 against Kolkata Knight Riders at same venue in this season.
  • 71 : David Miller and Abhinav Manohar set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Gujarat Titans against Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League, previously held by the 15-run stand between David Miller and Rahul Tewatia at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai in the last season and the MI's second highest fifth-wicket stand in IPL.
  • Mumbai Indians' 152 was their lowest score against Gujarat Titans in IPL, previously they scored 177 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai in last year.

GT scored 207-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shubman Gill struck 56 off 34-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 164.70.

David Miller hammered a 46 off 22-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 209.09, Abhinav Manohar blasted a 42 off 21-balls.

Rahul Tewatia hammered a unbeaten 20 off 5-balls including 3-sixes with strike rate of 400 and Vijay Shankar scored 19 off 16-balls included one-six & a four.

MI best bowler by Piyush Chawla took 2-wickets, Arjun Tendulkar, Jason Behrendorff, Kumar Kartikeya and Riley Meredith each took one-wickets.

MI scored 152-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Nehal Wadhera hammered a 40 off 21-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 190.47.

Cameron Green cracked a 33 off 26-balls including 3-sixes, Suryakumar Yadav struck 23 off 12-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 191.66 and Piyush Chawla hit 18 off 12-balls including one-six & a four with strike rate of 150 

GT best bowler by Noor Ahmad picked up 3-wickets, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma both took 2-wickets and one for Hardik Pandya.

Abhinav Manohar named Player of the match for his scintillating 42 off 21-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 200.
