Rahmanullah Gurbaz's brilliant half-century, Shardul Thakur's stunning 20-ball fifty and Rinku Singh's calculated 46 before Varun Chakravarthy's four-for, Suyash Sharma and Sunil Narine's combined 5-wickets helped to Kolkata Knight Riders massive 81-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore in a one-sided game of the ninth match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Kolkata Knight Riders' 81-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League and It is their third biggest win against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.

KKR scored 204-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Shardul Thakur blasted a 68 off 29-balls, Rahmanullah Gurbaz struck 57 off 44-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes and Rinku Singh cracked a 46 off 33-balls included 3-sixes & 2-fours.

RCB best bowler by David Willey, Karn Sharma took 2-wickets, Michael Bracewell, Harshal Patel and Mohammed Siraj each took one-wickets.

RCB scored 123 for all-out in 17.4 overs with top scorer by Faf du Plessis blasted a 23 off 12-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 191.66.

Virat Kohli scored 21 off 18-balls including 3-fours, David Willey cracked a run-a-ball unbeaten 20-runs in included 2-fours and Akash Deep blasted a 17 off 8-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 212.50.

KKR best bowler by Varun Chakravarthy claimed a 4-wickets for 15-runs in 3.4-overs, Debutant Suyash Sharma - who picked up 3-wickets for 30-runs in 4-overs on his debut IPL match, Sunil Narine took 2-wickets and one for Shardul Thakur.

Shardul Thakur named Player of the match for his stunning batting performance to smashed a career-best counter-attacking 68-runs knocked off facing 29-balls including 9-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 234.48.
