Gujarat Titans' 7-run win was their smallest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League, previous narrowest victory by 8-runs against Kolkata Knight Riders at Dy Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai in the previous season. Gujarat Titans' total of 136 for 6 is their lowest that they have successfully defended in IPL, eclipsing their previous lowest of 144 for 4 against same opponent at Pune in the last season. Gujarat Titans' 135 was their lowest score in a completed innings in IPL, previous lowest was 143 against Punjab Kings at Dy Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai in the last year. Lucknow Super Giants' 128 was their second lowest score against Gujarat Titans in IPL after their worst-total against same opponent at Pune in the last IPL season. This is the first time Lucknow Super Giants have failed to chase down a target below 130 in a full 20-over game. The previous lowest target they could not chase in a T20I was 145 against same opponent during the last IPL season in Pune.

* The game turnaround started with Noor Ahmad strikes two wickets for 1-run in nine balls, which set the pressure back on Lucknow Super Giants as the equation reached 23-runs from 18-balls. Mohit Sharma then sent down a rapid of accurate yorkers and slower balls for six singles, Mohammed Shami bowled a excellent 19th over for five runs, and when Super Giants needed 12 off six, Mohit Sharma perfectly much shut the game out with the wickets of KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis on the 2nd and 3rd balls of the final-over. When LSG needed 10 off 3-balls, Ayush Badoni and Deepak Hooda were run out while attempting dangerous second run and a dot ball sealed the Gujarat Titans win by dramatic 7-runs.

GT scored 135-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Hardik Pandya cracked a 66 off 50-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours.

Wriddhiman Saha struck 47 off 37-balls including 6-fours and Vijay Shankar scored 10 off 12-balls included a boundary.

LSG best bowler by Krunal Pandya, Marcus Stoinis both took 2-wickets and one for Amit Mishra - Naveen-ul-Haq.

LSG scored 128-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul struck 68 off 61-balls including 8-fours.

Kyle Mayers scored 24 off 19-balls including 2-fours & a six and Krunal Pandya scored a run-a-ball 23-runs included 2-fours & a six.

GT best bowler by Mohit Sharma, Noor Ahmad both took 2-wickets and one for Rashid Khan.

Mohit Sharma named Player of the match for his brilliant pace bowling attack to took 2-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs.
