Sarfraz Nawaz and Imran Khan's combined 5-wickers before Zaheer Abbas' record-breaking third consecutive hundred in a row and Mudassar Nazar's unbeaten half-century gives Pakistan emphatic eight-wicket victory over India and clinch the four-match series with 3-1 in the fourth ODI.

Pakistan won the One-day international series against India by 3-1 they trounced the touring team by eight wickets in the final 40-overs match which was marred by crowd problems in the Karachi.

Spectators spilled over on to the playing area twice during the India's innings and the match was stopped for 12 minutes at one stage the Pakistan captain Imran Khan pulled out a stump and threatened a spectator nearing his opposite number, Sunil Gavaskar.

The Stadium was the scene of more serious crowd trouble last October when Pakistan's One-day game Australia had to be abandoned because of a riot.

India won the toss and scored 197 for 6 in their alloted 40-overs, Pakistan surged to a victory at 198 for two in 35 overs.

The fast bowling of Imran Khan and Sarfraz Nawaz and the middle-order batting of Zaheer Abbas were again at the heart of the Pakistan triumph.

Mudassar, who scored an unbeaten 61 and Zaheer shared a second-wicket partnership of 170 as India tried seven bowlers, but Zaheer completed his third consecutive hundred in the One-day international series.


India scored 197-6 in the alloted 40 overs with top scorer by Kris Srikkanth cracked a 48 off 76-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 5-fours.

Yashpal Sharma scored 27 off 42-balls including a boundary, Sunil Gavaskar hit 23 off 26-balls included one-six & a four, Dilip Vengsarkar scored a run-a-ball 22-runs without a boundary and Arun Lal 16.

Pakistan best bowler by Sarfraz Nawaz picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 8-overs, Imran Khan took 2-wickets and one for Ijaz Faqih.

Pakistan chased 198-2 in 35 overs with top scorer by Zaheer Abbas hammered a 113 off 99-balls - which was his 6th ODI hundred & his third century against India in ODIs.

Mudassar Nazar scored a unbeaten 61 off 89-balls including three boundaries and Javed Miandad 6 not out.

India best bowler by Balwinder Sandhu took 2-wickets for 38-runs in 7-overs.

Zaheer Abbas named Player of the match for his match-winning magnificent 113-runs knocked off facing 99-balls including 11-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 114.14.
