  • Sri Lanka's innings & 280-run win was their largest victory by terms of innings and runs in Test cricket history, previous biggest win by innings & 254-run against Zimbabwe at Bulawayo in 2004 and the 12th biggest innings victory in Test cricket.
  • Dimuth Karunaratne became the Sri Lankan batsman to score a century against Ireland in Test cricket history.
  • Kusal Mendis became the second Sri Lankan batsman to score a hundred against Ireland in Tests after Dimuth Karunaratne.

Sri Lanka 1st Innings scored 591-6 for declared in 131 overs with top scorer by Dimuth Karunaratne hammered a 179 off 235-balls - which was his 15th Test hundred & his first century against Ireland in Tests - including 15-fours with strike rate of 76.17.

Kusal Mendis blasted a 140 off 193-balls - which was his 8th Test hundred & his first century against Ireland in Tests - including 18-fours & a six with strike rate of 72.53.

Sadeera Samarawickrama smashed a career-best unbeaten 104 off 114-balls - which was his 1st Test hundred - including 11-fours with strike rate of 91.22.

Dinesh Chandimal cracked a unbeaten 102 off 155-balls - which was his 14th Test hundred & his first century against Ireland in Tests - including 12-fours

Nishan Madushka struck 29 off 48-balls including 4-fours and Prabath Jayasuriya 16

1st Innings Ireland best bowler by Curtis Campher takes 2-wickets, Mark Adair, George Dockrell, Ben White and Andy McBrine each took one-wickets.

Ireland 1st Innings scored 143 for all-out in 52.3 overs with top scorer by Lorcan Tucker cracked a 45 off 73-balls including 7-fours.

1st Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Prabath Jayasuriya claimed a career-best 7-wicket haul for 52-runs in 3/23-overs including ten maidens, Vishwa Fernando took 2-wickets and one for Ramesh Mendis.

Ireland 2nd Innings scored 168 for all-out (Follow-on) in 54.1 overs with top scorer by Harry Tector hit 42 off 95-balls including 4-fours.

George Dockrell scored 32 off 54-balls including 6-fours, Curtis Campher cracked a 30 off 73-balls included 5-fours and Mark Adair hit a unbeaten 23 off 29-balls including 3-fours.

2nd Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Ramesh Mendis claimed a 4-wickets for 76-runs in 20-overs including a maiden, Prabath Jayasuriya picked up 3-wickets and Vishwa Fernando took 2-wickets.

Prabath Jayasuriya named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling performance to took ten wickets in an match.
