Travis Head, Steve Smith's centuries and Bowlers attack helped to Australia thumping 209-run victory over India and clinch the their historic first WTC title in a one-sided game of the final of a World Test Championship.

Australia 1st Innings scored 469 for all-out in 121.3 overs with top scorer by Travis Head hammered a 163 off 174-balls - which was his 6th Test hundred & his first century against India in ODIs.

Steve Smith cracked a 121 off 268-balls - which was his 31st Test hundred & his ninth century against India in Tests - including 19-fours.

Alex Carey cracked a 48 off 69-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 7-fours & a six, David Warner blasted a 43 off 60-balls included 8-fours and Marnus Labuschagne scored 26 off 62-balls including 3-fours.

1st Innings India best bowler by Mohammed Siraj claimed a 4-wickets for 108-runs in 28.3-overs, Shardul Thakur, Mohammed Shami both took 2-wickets and one for Ravindra Jadeja.

India 1st Innings scored 296 for all-out in 69.4 overs with top scorer by Ajinkya Rahane cracked a 89 off 129-balls including 11-fours & a six with strike rate of 68.99

Shardul Thakur struck 51 off 109-balls including 6-fours, Ravindra Jadeja hammered a 48 off 51-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 94.11. and Rohit Sharma 15.

1st Innings Australia best bowler by Pat Cummins picked up 3-wickets, Cameron Green, Scott Boland, Mitchell Starc each took 2-wickets and one for Nathan Lyon.

Australia 2nd Innings scored 270-8 for declared in 84.3 overs with top scorer by Alex Carey cracked a unbeaten 66 off 105-balls including 8-fours.

Mitchell Starc blasted a 41 off 57-balls including 7-fours, Marnus Labuchagne scored 41 off 126-balls including 4-fours.

Steve Smith struck 34 off 47-balls including 3-fours, Cameron Green scored 25 off 95-balls included 4-fours and Travis Head hit 18 off 27-balls included 2-sixes.

2nd Innings India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3-wickets, Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav both took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Siraj.

India 2nd Innings scored 234 for all-out in 63.3 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli cracked a 49 off 78-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 7-fours.

Ajinkya Rahane scored 46 off 108-balls Including 8-fours, Rohit Sharma hit 43 off 60-balls including 7-fours & a six.

Cheteshwar Pujara scored 27 off 47-balls included 5-fours, Srikar Bharat scored 23 off 41&l-balls included 2-fours and Shubman Gill 18.


2nd Innings Australia best bowler by Nathan Lyon claimed a 4-wickets for 41-runs in 15.3-overs including two maidens, Scott Boland picked up 3-wickets, Mitchell Starc took 2-wickets and one for Pat Cummins.

Travis Head named Player of the match for his quick-fire batting performance to smashed a 163-runs knocked off facing 174-balls including 25-fours & a six.
