Ibrahim Zadran's 98 was his fourth highest score for Afghanistan in One-day international and his third highest-score against Sri Lanka in ODIs.

Sri Lanka scored 268 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Charith Asalanka cracked a 91 off 95-balls - who fell nine-run short of his century - including 12-fours.

Dhananjaya de Silva struck 51 off 59-balls including 5-fours, Pathum Nissanka scored 38 off 59-balls including 5-fours.

Debutant Dushan Hemantha - who scored 22 off 20-balls on his debut ODI match - including one-six & a four and Dasun Shanaka hit 17 off 16-balls included a boundary.

Afghanistan best bowler by Fareed Ahmad, Fazalhaq Farooqi both took 2-wickets, Mohammad Nabi, Azmatullah Omarzai, Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Noor Ahmad each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan chased with top scorer by Ibrahim Zadran cracked a run-a-ball 98-runs - who fell two-run short of his century.

Rahmat Shah scored 55 off 80-balls including 3-fours, Hashmatullah Shahidi hit 38 off 47-balls including 4-fours and Mohammad Nabi scored a unbeaten 27 off 28-balls including 4-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Kasun Rajitha took 2-wickets, Lahiru Kumara took one-wicket and Debutant Matheesha Pathirana - who took one-wicket on his debut ODI match.

Ibrahim Zadran named Player of the match for his match-winning superb run-a-ball 98-runs including 11-fours & 2-sixes.
