India best bowler by Kapil Dev took 2-wickets and one for Mohinder Amarnath - Maninder Singh.

India scored 163-7 in the alloted 39 overs with top scorer by Dilip Vengsarkar hit 27 off 26-balls including one-six & a four.

Mohinder Amarnath scored 27 off 33-balls including a boundary, Sunil Gavaskar cracked a 25 off 59-balls included 3-fours.

Anshuman Gaekwad scored 22 off consuming 52-balls including two boundaries and Ashok Malhotra scored 21 off 14-balls including 3-fours.

West Indies best bowler by Larry Gomes picked up 3-wickets, Andy Roberts took 2-wickets and one for Joel Garner.

Desmond Haynes named Player of the match for his brilliant 97-runs knocked off facing 104-balls including 12-fours.
