David Hookes struck 56 off 74-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes, Graham Yallop scored a unbeaten 52 off 74-balls included 3-fours.

Rod Marsh hammered a 37 off 26-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 142.30 and Graeme Wood 17.

West Indies best bowler by Malcolm Marshall, Larry Gomes both took 2-wickets and one for Michael Holding - Winston Davis.

West Indies chased 276-3 in 57.5 overs with top scorer by Viv Richards blasted a unbeaten 95 off 117-balls.

Gordon Greenidge hit 90 off 140-balls including 8-fours, Desmond Haynes hit 33 off 46-balls included 3-fours, Clive Lloyd scored a unbeaten 19 off 22-balls with 3-fours and Larry Gomes 15.

Australia best bowler by Rodney Hogg, Trevor Chappell and Tom Hogan each took one-wickets.

Viv Richards named Player of the match for his match-winning sparkling unbeaten 95-runs knocked off facing 117-balls including 9-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 81.19.
