* Spinners Ravichandran Ashwin's five-for and Ravindra Jadeja's three-wicket haul to bundled out the West Indies for 150 before an unbeaten 80-run opening stand between Rohit Sharma and debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal helped to India's solid reply on the opening day of the first Test match.

* Debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal's debut hundred and Captain Rohit Sharma's classy century helped to India take a massive 162-run lead on the day two of the first Test match.

* Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin's seven-for gives India's Innings win after West Indies bundled out for 130 in their second innings in the day three of the first Test match.



West Indies 1st Innings scored 150 for all-out in 64.3 overs with top scorer by Debutant Alick Athanaze - who hit 47-runs off 99-balls on his debut Test match - including 6-fours & a six.

Kraigg Brathwaite scored 20 off 46-balls including 3-fours, Rahkeem Cornwall  hit a unbeaten 19 off 34-balls included 3-fours and Jason Holder 18.

1st Innings India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a 5-wicket haul for 60-runs in 24.3-overs including six maidens, Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3-wickets for 26-runs in 14-overs included seven maidens, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj both took one-wickets.

India 1st Innings scored 421-5 for declared in 152.2 overs with top scorer by Yashasvi Jaiswal - who scored 171 off 387-balls on his debut Test match - including 16-fours & a six.

Rohit Sharma struck 103 off 221-balls - which was 10th Test hundred & his third century against West Indies in Tests - including 10-fours & 2-sixes.

Virat Kohli struck 76 off 182-balls including 5-fours and Ravindra Jadeja cracked a 37 off 82-balls included 3-fours & a six.

1st Innings West Indies best bowler by Rahkeem Cornwall, Kemar Roach, Debutant Alick Athanaze and Jomel Warrican each took one-wickets.

West Indies 2nd Innings scored 130 for all-out in 50.3 overs with top scorer by Alick Athanaze hit 28 off 44-balls including 4-fours, Jason Holder 20 not out and Jomel Warrican 18.

2nd Innings India best bowler by Ravichandran Ashwin claimed a 7-wicket haul for 71-runs in 21.3-overs including seven maidens, Ravindra Jadeja took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Siraj.

Yashasvi Jaiswal named Player of the match for his brilliant debut batting performance to smashed 171-runs.
