* Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli's fifties puts India on control in the opening day of the second Test match.

* West Indies steady start after Virat Kohli's first away Test hundred in five years, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin's fifties to take India past 400 in the day two of the second Test match.

* Captain Rohit Sharma and wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan's quick-fire fifties as India set the West Indies target of 365 before Ravichandran Ashwin's double-strike put the India in sight of victory in a another rain-interrupted day four of the second Test match.

* India won the two-match Test series with 1-0 after no play was possible on rain-hit day five of the second Test match


India 1st Innings scored 438 for all-out in 128 overs with top scorer by Virat Kohli cracked a 121 off 206-balls - which was his 29th Test hundred & his third century against West Indies in Tests - including11-fours.

Rohit Sharma struck 80 off 143-balls including  9-fours & 2-sixes, Ravindra Jadeja scored 61 off 152-balls included five boundaries.

Yashasvi Jaiswal blasted a 57 off 74-balls included 9-fours & a six with strike rate of 77.02, Ravichandran Ashwin's blasted a 56 off 78-balls including 8-fours with strike rate of 71.79 and Ishan Kishan hit 25 off 37-balls with 4-fours.

1st Innings West Indies best bowler by Jomel Warrican, Kemar Roach both picked up 3-wickets, Jason Holder took 2-wickets and one for Shannon Gabriel.

West Indies 1st Innings scored 255 for all-out in 115.4 overs with top scorer by Kraigg Brathwaite struck 75 off 235-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Alick Athanaze scored 37 off 111-balls including 3-fours, Tagenarine Chanderpaul  scored 33 off 95-balls including 4-fours.

Debutant Kirk McKenzie - who scored 32 off 57-balls on his debut Test match - Included 4-fours & a six, Jermaine Blackwood 20 and Jason Holder 15.

1st Innings India best bowler by Mohammed Siraj claimed a 5-wicket haul for 60-runs in 23.4-overs including six maidens, Ravindra Jadeja, Mukesh Kumar both took 2-wickets and one for Ravichandran Ashwin.

India 2nd Innings scored 181-2 in 24 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma hammered a 57 off 44-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 129.54.

Ishan Kishan blasted a 52 off 34-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 152.94, Yashasvi Jaiswal blasted a 38 off 30-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike-rate of 126.66 and Shubman Gill scored a unbeaten 29 off 37-balls with a boundary.

2nd Innings West Indies best bowler by Shannon Gabriel and Jomel Warrican both took 2-wickets.

West Indies 2nd Innings scored 76-2 in 32-overs at Stumps - with top scorer by Kraigg Brathwaite hit 28 off 52-balls including 5-fours.

Tagenarine Chanderpaul  scored 24 off 98-balls including 2-fours and Jermaine Blackwood hit a unbeaten 20 off 39-balls included 3-fours.

Mohammed Siraj named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a 5-wicket haul for 60-runs in 23.4-overs including six maidens.
