Opener Brandon King's brilliant century and Captain Shai Hope's unbeaten half-century after Romario Shepherd and Kyle Mayers' combined 5-wickets helped to West Indies consolation seven-wicket victory over Oman and registered their historic first ODI win against Oman in the 27th match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

  • Oman's 221 was their ninth lowest score at neutral venue in One-day internationals.
  • 85 : Shoaib Khan and Suraj Kumar set up the third highest seventh-wicket stand in One-day internationals.
  • Brandon King became the first West Indies batsman to score a century against Oman in ODI cricket history.

Oman scored 221-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Suraj Kumar cracked a unbeaten 53 off 65-balls including 5-fours & a six.

Shoaib Khan struck 50 off 54-balls including 5-fours & a six, Kashyap Prajapati scored 31 off 45-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Ayaan Khan scored 30 off 52-balls including 3-fours & a six and Mohammad Nadeem hit 20 off 47-balls included 2-fours.

West Indies best bowler by Romario Shepherd picked up 3-wickets for 44-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Kyle Mayers took 2-wickets and one for Kevin Sinclair.

West Indies chased 222-3 in 39.4 overs with top scorer by Brandon King cracked a 100 off 104-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & his first century against Oman in ODIs.

Shai Hope hit a unbeaten 63 off 65-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes, Keacy Carty scored 29 off 49-balls included 3-fours and Nicholas Pooran cracked a unbeaten 19 off 14-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 135.71.

Oman best bowler by Kaleemullah and Bilal Khan both took one-wickets.

Brandon King named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 100-runs knocked off facing 104-balls including 15-fours.
