Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan's fifties, Agha Salman's valuable unbeaten 38, Mohammad Nawaz's All-round display, Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf's combined 5-wickets helped to Pakistan comfortable 59-run victory over Afghanistan, despite a Mujeeb Ur Rahman's record-breaking fifty and Pakistan clinch the three-match series with 3-0 whitewash in a series decider of the third ODI.

Match Stats :
  • Pakistan's 59-run win was their third largest victory by terms of runs against Afghanistan in One-day internationals.
  • Afghanistan's 268 was their second highest score against Pakistan in One-day internationals after their 302 in the previous game at Hambantota.
  • 110 : Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan set up the record third-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Afghanistan in One-day international, previously held by the 57-run stand between Imran Farhat and Younis Khan at Sharjah in 2012.
  • Mujeeb Ur Rahman hammered a 26-ball fastest fifty by an Afghanistan batsman in One-day international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 27-ball half-century held by Rashid Khan against Ireland at Abu Dhabi in 2021.

Pakistan scored 268-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Rizwan cracked a 67 off 79-balls, Babar Azam struck 60 off 86-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Agha Salman blasted a unbeaten 38 off 31-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 122.58.

Mohammad Nawaz hit 30 off 25-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 120 and Fakhar Zaman struck 27 off 33-balls with 5-fours.

Afghanistan best bowler by Gulbadin Naib, Fareed Ahmad both took 2-wickets, Rashid Khan, Fazalhaq Farooqi and Mujeeb Ur Rahman each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan scored 209 for all-out in 48.4 overs with top scorer by Mujeeb Ur Rahman hammered a 64 off 37-balls including 5-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 172.97.

Shahidullah  struck 37 off 65-balls including two boundaries, Riaz Hassan  hit 34 off 66-balls included 5-fours, Fareed Ahmad 17 and Rashid Khan 16.

Pakistan best bowler by Shadab Khan picked up 3-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Faheem Ashraf and Mohammad Nawaz each took one-wickets.

Mohammad Rizwan named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a 67 off facing 79-balls including 6-fours & a six with two catches behind the stumps.

Imam-ul-Haq earned player of the series for contributing 165 runs in the three-match ODI Series.
