New Zealand won the four-match series with 3-0 after fourth and final One-day international match washed out.

* The fourth and final one-day cricket match between New Zealand and Pakistan was abandoned because of rain after the visitors were all out for 189.

* Rain had already forced a postponement from yesterday and began to fall again during the lunch break. It never eased and the umpires finally called off the match at 5.40pm.

* Pakistan had recovered magnificently from 7/92 to reach 189 in the final over with half centuries from Rameez Raja (59) and Tahir Naqqash (61), neither of whom are recognised batsmen. New Zealand won the series 3-0.


Pakistan scored 189 for all-out in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Tahir Naqqash hammered a 61 off 49-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 124.48.

Ramiz Raja scored 59 off 83-balls including 2-fours & a six and Mudassar Nazar 10.

New Zealand best bowler by Ewen Chatfield picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 10-overs including two maidens with economy rate of 2.0, Martin Snedden, John Bracewell both took 2-wickets and one for Richard Hadlee - Paul McEwan.
