* The most interesting moment of New Zealand's innings came just as dying. In the 46th over, New Zealand were 224 for 8, Bangladesh pacer Hasan Mahmud ran Ish Sodhi out for backing up too far at the non-striker's end.

* Ish Sodhi was back pavillion, nothing but a smile on his face, which suggests some Bangladesh players are starting to get used to this form of dismissal. But, a few seconds later, the Bangladesh temporary captain Litton Das decided to withdraw the appeal and invited Ish Sodhi back to resume his batting.

* Ish Sodhi returned and bigger smile on his face, hugged the Bangladesh seamer Hasan Mahmud and ushered New Zealand to a decent total of 254 for all-out in 49.2-overs.


New Zealand scored 254 for all-out in 49.2 overs with top scorer by Tom Blundell cracked a 68 off 66-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Henry Nicholls hit 49 off 61-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 6-fours, Ish Sodhi struck 35 off 39-balls, Cole McConchie and Kyle Jamieson each scored 20-runs.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mahedi Hasan picked up 3-wickets for 45-runs in 10-overs, Khaled Ahmed strikes 3-wickets, Mustafizur Rahman took 2-wickets and one for Nasum Ahmed - Hasan Mahmud.

Bangladesh scored 168 for all-out in 41.5 overs with top scorer by Mahmudullah struck 49 off 76-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including 4-fours & a six.

Tamim Iqbal cracked a 44 off 58-balls including 7-fours, Nasum Ahmed hit 21 off 30-balls included 2-sixes & a four, Mahedi Hasan 17 and Tanzid Hasan 16.

New Zealand best bowler by Ish Sodhi 6-39, Kyle Jamieson took 2-wickets and one for Cole McConchie - Lockie Ferguson.

Ish Sodhi named Player of the match for his all-round performance to claimed a record-breaking career-best 6-wicket haul for 39-runs in 10-overs including a maiden after scoring a his career-best 35 off 39-balls included 3-sixes.
