A brilliant unbeaten 95 from Liam Livingstone and A Superb unbeaten 42 by Sam Curran before Three-wicket hauls from Reece Topley and David Willey helped to England comprehensive 79-run victory over New Zealand and level the series with 1-1 in a rain-shortened, 34-over-a-side second ODI.

  • Trent Boult became the 25th New Zealand player to appearance 100th match in One-day internationals.
  • England lost their top five batsmen wickets for just 55-runs - which was their fourth worst first five-wicket collapse against New Zealand in One-day internationals.
  • 112 : Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran set up the second highest seventh-wicket partnership for England against New Zealand in One-day international and the England's fifth highest seventh-wicket stand in ODIs.

England scored 226-7 in the alloted 34 overs - match reduced 50 to 34-overs per a side - with top scorer by Liam Livingstone hammered a career-best unbeaten 95 off 78-balls.

Sam Curran cracked a 42 off 35-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 120, Moeen Ali hit 33 off 32-balls included 3-fours & a six and Jos Buttler struck 30 off 25-balls with 4-fours.

New Zealand best bowler by Trent Boult picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 7-overs including a maiden, Tim Southee took 2-wickets and one for Mitchell Santner - Matt Henry.

New Zealand scored 147 for all-out in 26.5 overs with top scorer by Daryl Mitchell cracked a 57 off 52-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Will Young hit 33 off 39-balls including 5-fours and Tom Latham scored 19 off 22-balls included a boundary.

England best bowler by Reece Topley picked up 3-wickets for 27-runs in 7-overs, David Willey took 3-wickets for 34-runs in 5.5-overs, Moeen Ali took 2-wickets and one for Gus Atkinson.

Liam Livingstone named Player of the match for his brilliant career-best unbeaten 95-runs knocked off facing 78-balls including 9-fours & a six with strike rate of 121.79.
