This is the Afghanistan first ODI win against Pakistan in the 8th ODI meeting between these sides. Pakistan's 282 was their second highest score against Afghanistan in One-day international and It is their highest total against Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup, previously they had scored 230 in a run-chasing at Leeds in the 2019 World Cup. 73 : Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed set up the record sixth-wicket partnership for Pakistan against Afghanistan in One-day international, previously held by the 40-run stand between Imam-ul-Haq and Shadab Khan at Hambantota in this year and the Pakistan's joint fifth highest sixth-wicket stand in the ODI World Cup, jointly 73-run stand held by between Imran Khan and Saleem Yousuf against West Indies at Lahore in the 1987 World Cup. Afghanistan's 286 was their second highest score against Pakistan in One-day international after their 300 at Hambantota in 2023 in this year and It is their second highest total in the ODI World Cup after their 288 against West Indies at Leeds in the 2019 World Cup. 130 : Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for Afghanistan against Pakistan in One-day international, The highest is 227-run stand at Hambantota in this year and the Afghanistan's fifth highest opening stand in ODIs. 96* : Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi set up the record second-wicket partnership for Afghanistan against Pakistan in One-day international, previously held by the 74-run stand between Asghar Afgan and Nawroz Mangal at Fatullah in the 2014 Asia Cup.

Pakistan scored 282-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam cracked a 74 off 92-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Abdullah Shafique struck 58 off 75-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes, Iftikhar Ahmed hammered a 40 off 27-balls included 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 148.14.

Shadab Khan cracked a 40 off 38-balls including one-six & a four, Saud Shakeel scored 25 off 34-balls included 3-fours and Imam-ul-Haq 17.

Afghanistan best bowler by Noor Ahmed picked up 3-wickets, Naveen-ul-Haq took 2-wickets and one for Mohammad Nabi - Azmatullah Omarzai.

Afghanistan chased 286-2 in 49 overs with top scorer by Ibrahim Zadran cracked a 87 off 113-balls, Rahmat Shah hit a unbeaten 75 off 81-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz blasted a 65 off 53-balls included 9-fours & a six and Hashmatullah Shahidi cracked a run-a-ball unbeaten 43-runs with 3-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi both took one-wickets.

Ibrahim Zadran named Player of the match for his match-winning solid 87 off 113-balls including 10-fours.
