  • India's 44-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals after their 73-run win at Mirpur in 2014.
  • India's 235 was their fifth highest score in T20 international, It is their highest total against Australia in T20Is, previous highest was 209 at Visakhapatnam earlier in this series' opening T20I.
  • India's 235 was their fourth highest score at their home venue in T20 international and the highest-score by any team at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram in T20Is, surpassing highest by 173 by West Indies against India in 2019.
  • This is the fourth instance of India's three batsmen were scores of fifty or more runs in their innings in T20 international and It is their first such instance against Australia in T20Is. The only other three such instance came against England (at Durban in 2007), against West Indies (at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai in 2019) and against Netherlands (at Sydney in 2022).
  • This is the first instance of India's top three batsmen were scores of fifty or more runs in their innings in T20 international cricket history and overall the fifth such instance in T20Is.
  • 77 : Yashasvi Jaiswal and Ruturaj Gaikwad set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for India against Australia in T20 international, The highest is 97-run stand between Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan at Melbourne in 2016.
  • 87 : Ruturaj Gaikwad and Ishan Kishan set up the record second-wicket partnership for India against Australia in T20 international, previously held by the 82-run stand between Gautam Gambhir and Robin Uthappa at Brabourne, Mumbai in 2007 and the India's seventh highest second-wicket stand against Australia in T20Is.
  • Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered a 24-ball his second fastest fifty for India in T20 international and the second fastest half-century by an Indian batsman against Australia in T20Is after Yuvraj Singh's 20-ball fifty at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • 81 : Marcus Stoinis and Tim David set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for Australia against India in T20 international, previously held by the 44-run stand between Matthew Wade and Steve Smith at Nagpur in the last year and the Australia's third highest fifth-wicket stand in T20Is.
  • Australia's 191 was their seventh highest score against India in T20 international and the second highest total by any team at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram in T20Is.

India scored mammoth total of 235-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Ruturaj Gaikwad cracked a 58 off 43-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 134.88.

Yashasvi Jaiswal hammered a 53 off 25-balls, Ishan Kishan blasted a 52 off 32-balls included 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 162.50.

Rinku Singh hammered a unbeaten 31 off 9-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 344.44 and Suryakumar Yadav hit 19 off 10-balls included 2-sixes with strike-rate of 190.

Australia best bowler by Nathan Ellis picked up 3-wickets for 45-runs in 4-overs and Marcus Stoinis took one-wicket.

Australia scored 191-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Marcus Stoinis blasted a 45 off 25-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 180.

Matthew Wade blasted a unbeaten 42 off 23-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 182.60, Tim David hammered a 37 off 22-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 168.18, Steve Smith and Matthew Short each scored 19-runs.

India best bowler by Ravi Bishnoi picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 4-overs, Prasidh Krishna captured three-wickets, Axar Patel, Mukesh Kumar and Arshdeep Singh each took one-wickets.

Yashasvi Jaiswal named Player of the match for his blazing batting performance to smashed a 53 off 25-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 212.
