India chased 259-4 in 48.1 overs with top scorer by Chetan Sharma cracked a career-best unbeaten 101 off 96-balls - which was his 1st ODI hundred, Kris Srikkanth struck 32 off 48-balls including 5-fours.

Dilip Vengsarkar cracked a 31 off 45-balls including 4-fours and Raman Lamba 16.

England best bowler by Gladstone Small, Eddie Hemmings and Phil DeFreitas each took one-wickets.

Chetan Sharma named Player of the match for his match-winning batting performance to scored a career-best unbeaten 101-runs knocked off facing 96-balls including 8-fours and a six with strike rate of 105.20.
