India scored 238-5 in 50 overs with top scorer by Kris Srikkanth cracked a 112 off 113-balls - which was his 4th ODI hundred and his second century against West Indies in ODIs.

Dilip Vengsarkar hit a unbeaten 76 off exact 100-balls including 6-fours & a six and Ravi Shastri scored 17 off 21-balls included a boundary.

West Indies best bowler by Carl Hooper picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 7-overs and Patrick Patterson took one-wicket.

West Indies scored 215 for all-out in 48.3 overs with top scorer by Desmond Haynes hit 87 off 121-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Richie Richardson scored 38 off 48-balls including 2-fours, Gordon Greenidge cracked a 27 off 51-balls included 4-fours and Carl Hooper hit 25 off 20-balls contained 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 125.

India best bowler by Sanjeev Sharma claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 26-runs in 7.3-overs, Narendra Hirwani captured 4-wickets for 50-runs in 10-overs including a maiden and Kapil Dev took one-wicket.

Kris Srikkanth named Player of the match for his magnificent batting performance to scored a 112-runs knocked off facing 113-balls including 10-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 99.11.
