  •  Ramiz Raja became the fifth Pakistan batsman to scored two centuries in ODIs.
  • 94 : John Wright and Andrew Jones set up the record first-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Pakistan in One-day international, previously held by the 73-run stand between John Wright and Bert Vance at Dunedin earlier in this year and the New Zealand's eighth highest opening stand in ODIs.
  • 83* : Imran Khan and Saleem Malik set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for Pakistan against New Zealand in One-day international, The highest is unbeaten 147-run stand between Zaheer Abbas and Imran Khan at Nottingham in the 1983 World Cup and the Pakistan's joint fourth highest any-wicket stand against New Zealand in ODIs, jointly 83-run stand held by between Zaheer Abbas and Javed Miandad at Christchurch in 1985.

New Zealand scored 249 for all-out in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Andrew Jones cracked a 82 off 93-balls including 4-fours.

John Wright hit 59 off 79-balls including 6-fours & a six, Martin Crowe scored a run-a-ball 32-runs without a boundary and Jeff Crowe cracked a 27 off 42-balls included 3-fours & a six.

Pakistan best bowler by Aaqib Javed picked up 3-wickets, Saleem Jaffar, Abdul Qadir both took 2-wickets and one for Imran Khan - Tauseef Ahmed.

Pakistan chased 251-3 in 48.3 overs with top scorer by Ramiz Raja struck 101 off 114-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred and his first century against New Zealand in ODIs.

Saleem Malik hammered a unbeaten 56 off 34-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 164.70, Imran Khan scored a unbeaten 51 off 62-balls included 2-sixes & a four, Aamer Malik 23 and Shoaib Mohammad 15.

New Zealand best bowler by Martin Snedden and Danny Morrison both took one-wickets.

Ramiz Raja named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 101-runs knocked off facing 114-balls including 9-fours and a six.
