Captain Shai Hope's scintillating century, Opener Alick Athanaze's brilliant half-century and All-rounder Romario Shepherd's quick-fire 48 powers to West Indies chased the record target of 326 against England by a stunning 4-wickets and take a 1-0 lead in the first ODI.

England scored 325 for all-out in exact 50 overs with top scorer by Harry Brook hit 71 off 72-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes.

Zak Crawley cracked a 48 off 63-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 5-fours, Phil Salt hammered a 45 off 28-balls included 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 160.71.

Sam Curran blasted a 38 off 26-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 146.15, Brydon Carse cracked a unbeaten 31 off 21-balls contained 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 147.61, Will Jacks scored 26 off 24-balls with 3-fours & a six.

West Indies best bowler by Gudakesh Motie, Oshane Thomas, Romario Shepherd each took 2-wickets and one for Alzarri Joseph - Yannic Cariah.

West Indies chased 326-6 in 48.5 overs with top scorer by Shai Hope hammered a unbeaten 109 off 83-balls - which was his 16th ODI hundred and his first century against England in ODIs.

Alick Athanaze cracked a 66 off 65-balls including 9-fours & 2-sixes, Romario Shepherd blasted a 48 off 28-balls included 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 171.42.

Brandon King cracked a 35 off 44-balls including 4-fours & a six, Shimron Hetmyer hit 32 off 40-balls included 4-fours and Keacy Carty 16.

England best bowler by Rehan Ahmed, Gus Atkinson both took 2-wickets and one for Liam Livingstone - Brydon Carse.

Shai Hope named Player of the match for his match-winning scintillating unbeaten 109-runs knocked off facing 83-balls including 7-sixes and 4-fours with strike rate of 131.32.
