Dilip Vengsarkar scored 38 off 43-balls including 3-fours, Mohammad Azharuddin cracked a 36 off 32-balls included 5-fours and Kris Srikkanth 17.

West Indies best bowler by Ian Bishop claimed a 4-wickets for 33-runs in 9.5-overs, Curtly Ambrose, Viv Richards both took 2-wickets and one for Courtney Walsh.

West Indies chased 193-4 in 47.2 overs with top scorer by Keith Arthurton hit a unbeaten 76 off 114-balls, Gus Logie scored a unbeaten 45 off 57-balls including 2-fours.

Richie Richardson hit 30 off 61-balls including two boundaries and Desmond Haynes scored 18 off 36-balls contained three-fours.

India best bowler by Chetan Sharma, Kapil Dev and Narendra Hirwani each took one-wickets.

Keith Arthurton named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 76 off 114-balls including five boundaries.
