Aravinda de Silva scored 24 off 31-balls including a boundary, Debutant Charith Senanayake - who scored 24 off 49-balls on his debut ODI match - included 2-fours and Dammika Ranatunga 19.

Pakistan best bowler by Mushtaq Ahmed picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 6-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.33.

Waqar Younis captured three-wickets for 25-runs in 8-overs, Wasim Akram, Akram Raza both took one-wickets.

Ijaz Ahmed named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a unbeaten 54 off 78-balls including one-six and a four.
