All-round Sri Lanka massive 192-run win victory over Bangladesh and clinch the two-match series with 2-0 whitewash in a another one-sided game of the second Test match.

  • Sri Lanka's 192-run win was their seventh largest victory by terms of runs against Bangladesh in Tests.
  • Sri Lanka's 531 was the highest total in a Test innings without a single century, previous record of India's 524 for 9 declared against New Zealand at Kanpur in 1976, when the highest individual score was just 70 by Mohinder Amarnath, one of six fifties in the innings.

  • Bangladesh's 178 was their joint fifth highest score against Sri Lanka at their home venue in Tests.

Sri Lanka 1st Innings scored massive total of 531 for all-out in 159 overs with top scorer by Kusal Mendis struck 93 off 150-balls - who fell seven-run short of his century - including 11-fours & a six.

Kamindu Mendis hit a unbeaten 92 off 167-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes, Dimuth Karunaratne cracked a 86 off 129-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 66.66, 

Dhananjaya de Silva struck 70 off 111-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes, Nishan Madushka hit 57 off 105-balls included 6-fours.

Dinesh Chandimal cracked a unbeaten 34 off 58-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Prabath Jayasuriya scored 28 off 75-balls included three-fours, Angelo Mathews hit 23 off 71-balls included 2-fours & a six and Dhananjaya de Silva 15 not out.

1st Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Shakib Al Hasan picked up 3-wickets, Hasan Mahmud took 2-wickets and one for Khaled Ahmed - Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Bangladesh 1st Innings scored 178 for all-out in 68.4 overs with top scorer by Zakir Hasan hit 54 off 104-balls including 8-fours.

Mominul Haque cracked a 33 off 84-balls including 3-fours, Taijul Islam scored 22 off 61-balls included a boundary, Mahmudul Hasan Joy hit 21 off 42-balls contained three-fours and Shakib Al Hasan 15.

1st Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Asitha Fernando claimed a 4-wickets for 34-runs in 10.4-overs including a maiden, Lahiru Kumara, Vishwa Fernando and Prabath Jayasuriya each took 2-wickets.

Sri Lanka 2nd Innings scored 157-7 for declared in 40 overs with top scorer by Angelo Mathews struck 56 off 74-balls including 5-fours.

Nishan Madushka cracked a 34 off 45-balls including 5-fours and Prabath Jayasuriya scored a unbeaten 28 off 67-balls contained 2-fours.

2nd Innings Bangladesh best bowler by Hasan Mahmud claimed a 4-wickets for 65-runs in 15-overs including two maidens, Khaled Ahmed took 2-wickets and one for Shakib Al Hasan.

Bangladesh 2nd Innings scored 318 for all-out in 85 overs with top scorer by Mehidy Hasan Miraz blasted a unbeaten 81 off 110-balls including 14-fours with strike rate of 73.63.

Mominul Haque hammered a 50 off 56-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike rate of 89.28, Litton Das hit 38 off 72-balls included 4-fours.

Shakib Al Hasan scored 36 off 53-balls contained three-fours, Mahmudul Hasan Joy hit 24 off 32-balls including 3-fours, Najmul Hossain Shanto 20 and Zakir Hasan 19.

2nd Innings Sri Lanka best bowler by Lahiru Kumara claimed a 4-wickets for 50-runs in 15-overs including three maidens, 

Kamindu Mendis picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 10-overs, Prabath Jayasuriya took 2-wickets and one for Vishwa Fernando.

Kamindu Mendis named Player of the match for his all-round performance to picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs after scoring a superb unbeaten 92 off 167-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes.
