Umesh Yadav holds nerve as Gujarat Titans pulled off a stunning win against former captain Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians) by a thrilling 6-runs, despite a former skipper Rohit Sharma's blitz in a nail-biter game of fifth match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Gujarat Titans' 6-run win was their smallest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League, previous narrowest win by 7-runs against Lucknow Super Giants at Lucknow in the last year.
  • Gujarat Titans' 168 was their joint eighth lowest score in Indian Premier League and It is their lowest-score against Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League, previous lowest was 172 at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai in 2022.

* When Mumbai Indians needed 19 runs from 6 balls of last over but experienced Pace bowler Umesh Yadav produced a stunning final over with conceded 12 runs and took former Gujarat Titans' captain Hardik Pandya and Piyush Chawla wickets to Gujarat Titans beat Mumbai Indians by a thrilling 6 runs in a last-ball thriller.


GT scored 168-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sai Sudharsan struck 45 off 39-balls, Shubman Gill cracked a 31 off 22-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 140.90.

Rahul Tewatia blasted a 22 off 15-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike-rate of 146.66, Wriddhiman Saha hit 19 off 15-balls contained 4-fours.

MI best bowler by Jasprit Bumrah picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Gerald Coetzee took 2-wickets and one for Piyush Chawla.

MI scored 162-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dewald Brevis struck 46 off 38-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 121.05.

Rohit Sharma blasted a 43 off 29-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 148.27, Tilak Varma hit 25 off 19-balls included one-six & a four.

Naman Dhir blasted a 20 off 10-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 200, Tim David and Hardik Pandya each scored 11-runs.

GT best bowler by Spencer Johnson, Azmatullah Omarzai, Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma each took 2-wickets and one for Sai Kishore.

Sai Sudharsan named Player of the match for his valuable innings of 45 off 39-balls including 3-fours and a six.
