Sensational Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton's world record-breaking 33-ball century, Malan Kruger's unbeaten half-century and Ruben Trumpelmann's four-for gives Namibia comfortable 20-run victory over Nepal in a historic game of the opening match of a Nepal Triangular Series.

  • Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton registered a world record-breaking 33-ball fastest century ever in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 34-ball half-century held by Nepal's Kushal Malla against Mongolia at Hangzhou in the last year.
  • Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton became the first Namibian batsman to score a century against Nepal in T20I cricket history.
  • Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton became the third Namibian batsman to score a hundred in T20 internationals after JP Kotze and Gerhard Erasmus.
  • 8 : Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hit the second most sixes hit in an innings for Namibia in T20 internationals after JP Kotze's 9-sixes against Botswana at Windhoek in 2019.

Namibia scored mammoth total of 206-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton hammered a 101 off 36-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Malan Kruger hit a unbeaten 59 off 48-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 122.91 and Michael van Lingen scored 20 off 19-balls included 2-fours & a six.

Nepal best bowler by Rohit Paudel took 2-wickets and one for Karan KC - Abinash Bohara.

Nepal scored 186 for all-out in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Dipendra Singh Airee hammered a 48 off 32-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 150.

Rohit Paudel blasted a 42 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 175, Kushal Malla struck 32 off 41-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 152.38 and Sompal Kami hammered a 26 off 11-balls contained 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 236.36.

Scotland best bowler by Ruben Trumpelmann claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 29-runs in 3.5-overs, Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton, Jan Frylinck and Bernard Scholtz each took 2-wickets.

Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton named Player of the match for World record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 101-runs knocked off facing just 33-balls including 11-fours & 8-sixes with strike rate of 280.55.
