Ali Dawood, Abdul Majid's combined 5-wickets and Captain Haider Butt's all-round display helped to Bahrain registered their historic first T20I win against Cambodia by a comfortable 7-wickets in a one-sided game of the 16th match of a ACC Premier Cup.
Cambodia bundled out for 83 in 17.2 overs with top scorer by Luqman Butt scored 21 off 20-balls including 3-fours.
Sharwan Godara hit 17 off 12-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 141.66 and Salvin Stanly 15.
Bahrain best bowler by Ali Dawood picked up 3-wickets, Haider Butt captured three-wickets for 11-runs in 2.2-overs, Abdul Majid took 2-wickets for 12-runs in 4-overs, Sathaiya Veerapathiran and Sarfaraz Ali both took one-wickets.
Bahrain chased 87-3 in 13.1 overs with top scorer by Haider Butt blasted a unbeaten 39 off 27-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 144.44.
Sarfaraz Ali struck 23 off 16-balls including 4-fours and Umer Toor 10.
Cambodia best bowler by Utkarsh Jain captured 2-wickets for 8-runs in 4-overs and Ram Sharan took one-wicket.
Ali Dawood named Player of the match for his brilliant pace bowling performance to claimed a career-best 3-wickets for 8-runs in 2-overs.
