Ayush Shukla's impressive spell and A superb unbeaten 65 by Anshy Rath steers to Hong Kong convincing six-wicket victory over Nepal and finished with third position on the points table in a see-saw game of the third place playoff game of a ACC Premier Cup.
Nepal scored 139-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dipendra Singh Airee hammered a unbeaten 44 off 29-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 151.72.
Sundeep Jora scored 22 off 23-balls including a boundary and Rohit Paudel hit 21 off 19-balls included 2-fours.
Hong Kong best bowler by Ayush Shukla picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs, Ehsan Khan, Yasim Murtaza and Ateeq Iqbal each took one-wickets.
Hong Kong chased 140-6 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Anshy Rath cracked a unbeaten 65 off 50-balls, Babar Hayat hit 26 off 25-balls including 2-sixes, Aizaz Khan 12 and Nasrulla Rana 11 not out.
Nepal best bowler by Sompal Kami picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 4-overs and Dipendra Singh Airee took 2-wickets.
Anshy Rath named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 65 off 50-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 130.
