Quinton de Kock's superb 56-ball 81 and Nicholas Pooran's power-hitting 21-ball 40* before Pace bowling attack Mayank Yadav and Naveen-ul-Haq's combined 5-wickets helped to Lucknow Super Giants comfortable 28-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite a Mahipal Lomror's blitz in the 15th match of a Indian Premier League.

  • Lucknow Super Giants' 28-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League.
  • Lucknow Super Giants' 181 was their 12th highest score in Indian Premier League and It is their third highest total against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL.
  • Lucknow Super Giants' 181 was their second highest-score at Bengaluru in IPL after their 213 also against RCB in the last year.
  • Quinton de Kock's 81 was his second highest score for Lucknow Super Giants in Indian Premier League and the highest-score by an LSG batsman against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, surpassing the previous record of 79 held by KL Rahul at Kolkata in 2022.
  • 53 : Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul set up the record first-wicket partnership for Lucknow Super Giants against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League, previously held by the 17-run stand between these same pair at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai in 2022 and the LSG's joint eighth highest opening stand in IPL, jointly 53-run stand held by between KL Rahul and Kyle Mayers against Punjab Kings at Lucknow in the last year.
  • 56 : Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran set up the second highest third-wicket partnership for Lucknow Super Giants against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League, The highest is 96-run stand between KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda against Kolkata in 2022 and the LSG's fourh highest third-wicket stand in IPL.
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore's 153 was their second lowest score in a completed innings against Lucknow Super Giants in Indian Premier League after their 126 at Lucknow in the last year. 

LSG scored 181-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Quinton de Kock blasted a 81 off 56-balls including 8-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 144.64.

Nicholas Pooran hammered a unbeaten 40 off 21-balls including 5-sixes & a four with strike rate of 190.47, Marcus Stoinis struck 24 off 15-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 160 and KL Rahul hit 20 off 14-balls contained 2-sixes with strike-rate of 142.85.

RCB best bowler by Glenn Maxwell captured two-wickets, Yash Dayal, Reece Topley and Mohammed Siraj each took one-wickets.

RCB scored 153 for all-out in 19.4 overs with top scorer by Mahipal Lomror hammered a 33 off 13-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 253.84.

Rajat Patidar cracked a 29 off 21-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 138.09, Virat Kohli scored 22 off 16-balls included 2-fours & a six and Faf du Plessis hit 19 off 13-balls contained three-fours with strike rate of 146.15.

LSG best bowler by Mayank Yadav picked up 3-wickets, Naveen-ul-Haq captured two-wickets, Marcus Stoinis and Manimaran Siddharth each took one-wickets.

Mayank Yadav named Player of the match for his scintillating pace bowling spell of 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs.
