Bowlers shines before a superb unbeaten half-century by Alishan Sharafu steers to UAE convincing six-wicket victory over Nepal and storm into the finals in the first semi-final of a ACC Premier Cup.
Nepal scored 119-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sundeep Jora cracked a 50 off 40-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 125.
Gulsan Jha scored 20 off 16-balls including one-six & a four Karan KC hit 17 off 12-balls included one-six & a four.
UAE best bowler by Basil Hameed captured two-wickets for 4-runs in 2-overs, Junaid Siddique, Ali Naseer both took 2-wickets, Omid Shafi Rahman, Aayan Afzal Khan and Muhammad Farooq each took one-wickets.
UAE chased 123-4 in 17.2 overs with top scorer by Alishan Sharafu blasted a unbeaten 55 off 41-balls, Vishnu Sukumaran cracked a run-a-ball 28-runs including 3-fours & a six and Syed Haider scored 14 off 15-balls included a boundary.
Nepal best bowler by Gulsan Jha took 2-wickets and one for Lalit Rajbanshi - Sompal Kami.
Alishan Sharafu named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 55 off 41-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 134.14.
