All-rounder Mark Adair holds nerve as Ireland pulled off a thrilling 1-run victory over Netherlands, despite a stunning late assault from Tim Pringle's 13-ball 35 in a last-ball thriller of the second match of a Indian Premier League.
Ireland scored 150-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mark Adair hammered a 49 off 24-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century.
Lorcan Tucker struck 40 off 30-balls including 5-fours & a six and Gareth Delany hit 19 off 18-balls included one-six & a four.
Netherlands best bowler by Tim Pringle picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 4-overs, Daniel Doram, Paul van Meekeren each took 2-wickets for 27-runs in their allotted 4-overs and Vivian Kingma took one-wicket.
Netherlands scored 149-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Tim Pringle hammered a unbeaten 35 off 13-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 269.23.
Max O'Dowd struck 33 off 30-balls including 2-fours & a six, Bas de Leede cracked a 32 off 29-balls including 3-fours and Michael Levitt scored 19 off 24-balls contained 2-fours.
Ireland best bowler by Fionn Hand picked up 3-wickets for 18-runs in 4-overs, Curtis Campher and Mark Adair both took 2-wickets.
Mark Adair named Player of the match for his all-round performance to 2-wickets for 34-runs in 4-overs after scoring a whirlwind 49 off 24-balls including 7-fours and 2-sixes with strike rate of 204.16.
