Bowlers and Captain Sam Curran's all-round display gives Punjab Kings convincing five-wicket victory over Rajasthan Royals and RR suffer fourth straight defeat to stay second spot on the points table in the 65th match of a Indian Premier League.

Rajasthan Royals' 144 was their second lowest score in a completed innings against Punjab Kings in IPL after their 112 at Cape Town in 2009 and It is their worst-total at Guwahati in IPL, previous lowest was 192 also against Punjab Kings in the last season. 50 : Riyan Parag and Ravichandran Ashwin set up the fourth highest fourth-wicket partnership for Rajasthan Royals against Punjab Kings in IPL. 63 : Sam Curran and Jitesh Sharma equalled a joint fourth highest fifth-wicket partnership for Punjab Kings against Rajasthan Royals in IPL, jointly 63-run stand held by between Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan at Jaipur in the inaugural 2008 edition.

PBKS chased 145-5 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Sam Curran hit a unbeaten 63 off 41-balls, Rilee Rossouw blasted a 22 off 13-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 169.23.

Jitesh Sharma scored 22 off 20-balls included 2-sixes and Ashutosh Sharma hit a unbeaten 17 off 11-balls included one-six & a four with strike-rate of 154.54.

RR best bowler by Avesh Khan, Yuzvendra Chahal both took 2-wickets and one for Trent Boult.

Sam Curran named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a unbeaten 63 off 41-balls including 5-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 153.65.
