Shayan Jahangir's 69-ball 89 and Sanjay Krishnamurthi's half-century before Saurabh Netravalkar's four-for, Harmeet Singh and Jasdeep Singh's combined 5-wickets helped to USA comfortable 88-run victory over Canada, despite a Shivam Sharma's four-wicket haul in the 71st match of ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.
USA scored 286-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Shayan Jahangir hammered a 89 off 69-balls, Sanjay Krishnamurthi cracked a 61 off 62-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours.
Monank Patel struck 31 off 39-balls included 4-fours, Andries Gous hit 29 off 37-balls contained 3-fours & a six, Smit Patel 17 and Jasdeep Singh 16 not out.
Canada best bowler by Shivam Sharma claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 69-runs in 8-overs, Dilon Heyliger picked up 3-wickets for 56-runs in 10-overs, Saad Bin Zafar and Kaleem Sana both took one-wickets.
Canada bowled out for 198 in 46.1 overs with top scorer by Harsh Thaker struck 66 off 79-balls including 4-fours & 2-sixes.
Pargat Singh struck 37 off 52-balls including 2-fours & a six, Nicholas Kirton scored 32 off 45-balls included three boundaries and Shivam Sharma hit 28 off 41-balls contained 3-fours.
USA best bowler by Saurabh Netravalkar claimed a 4-wickets for 33-runs in 8.1-overs, Harmeet Singh picked up 3-wickets for 40-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Jasdeep Singh took 2-wickets and one for Milind Kumar.
Shayan Jahangir named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to smashed a quick-fire 89 off 69-balls including 11-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 128.98.
