Netherlands win epic contest after three Super Overs and T20I matcagainst Nepal in the second match of a Tri-series.
* In a thrilling encounter that will be etched in cricketing history, the Netherlands edged out Nepal in the second match of the Scotland T20 Tri-series 2025. The match went into three Super Overs, marking the first time in T20 or List A cricket that such a feat has been achieved.
The Thrilling Finish
Nepal seemed to be cruising towards victory after restricting Netherlands to 152/7, but the Dutch bowlers held their nerve to take the match to a Super Over. Nepal required 16 runs off the final over, but Nandan Yadav's boundary off the last ball tied the scores.³

Max O'Dowd's six off the final ball of the Super Over tied the scores once again, sending the match into a second Super Over.

Dipendra Singh Airee's six off the final ball of the Super Over tied the scores for the third time, forcing a third Super Over.

Zach Lion Cachet's brilliant bowling dismissed two Nepalese batsmen without conceding a run, setting up a win for Netherlands. Michael Levitt then sealed the victory with a six off the first ball of the Super Over.
Netherlands scored 152-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Teja Nidamanuru cracked a 35 off 37-balls including a boundary.
Vikramjit Singh struck 30 off 29-balls including 2-sixes, Saqib Zulfiqar blasted a unbeaten 25 off 12-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 208.33.
Michael Levitt scored 20 off 16-balls including one-six & a four and Max O'Dowd struck 19 off 11-balls contained 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 172.72.
Nepal best bowler by Sandeep Lamichhane picked up 3-wickets for 18-runs in 4-overs, Nandan Yadav took 2-wickets and one for Lalit Rajbanshi - Kushal Bhurtel.
Nepal scored 152-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rohit Paudel struck 48 off 35-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.
Kushal Bhurtel blasted a 34 off 23-balls including 5-fours with strike rate of 147.82, Rupesh Singh struck 19 off 14-balls included one-six & a four, Kiran Thagunna scored 15 off 25-balls without a boundary and Nandan Yadav hit a unbeaten 12 off 4-balls contained 2-fours with strike rate of 300.
Netherlands best bowler by Daniel Doram picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Vikramjit Singh captured 2-wickets, Zach Lion-Cachet, Kyle Klein and Ben Fletcher each took one-wickets.
Zach Lion-Cachet named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to took 2-wickets for without lost a wicket in four balls in the third Super Over.
