Azmatullah Omarzai hammered a 20-ball fastest fifty by an Afghanistan batsman in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 21-ball half-century jointly hit by Mohammad Nabi against Ireland at Greater Noida in 2017 and Karim Janat also at same venue (Abu Dhabi) in 2023. Hong Kong's 94 was their joint eighth lowest score in a completed innings in T20 international, previous lowest was 112 at Mirpur in 2016.

Afghanistan scored 188-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Sediqullah Atal blasted a unbeaten 73 off 52-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 140.38.

Azmatullah Omarzai hammered a 53 off 21-balls and Mohammad Nabi struck 33 off 26-balls included 3-fours & a six.

Hong Kong best bowler by Kinchit Shah, Ayush Shukla both captured 2-wickets and one for Ehsan Khan - Ateeq Iqbal.

Hong Kong scored 94-9 in the allotted 20 overs with top scorer by Babar Hayat cracked a 39 off 43-balls including 3-sixes.

Yasim Murtaza hit 16 off 26-balls including a boundary, Kinchit Shah, Aizaz Khan and Ehsan Khan each took one-wickets.

Afghanistan best bowler by Gulbadin Naib captured 2-wickets for 8-runs in 3-overs with economy rate of 2.66, Fazalhaq Farooqi captured two-wickets, Azmatullah Omarzai, Noor Ahmad and Rashid Khan each took one-wickets.

Azmatullah Omarzai named Player of the match for his whirlwind batting performance to smashed a 53 off facing 21-balls including 5-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 252.38.
